This spring, the Wijnstudio, together with Wijn op Dronk will organise the WSET Level 1 Wine Course @WijnopDronk in the Balistraat in Den Haag.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) of London is the world’s leading wine educator with courses in 70 countries around the globe. The WSET Qualifications are the world wide standard in the wine industry.
The WSET Level 1 course is the best starting point for any wine enthusiast and those starting a career in wine or hospitality! This level 1 wine course will educate you the fundamentals of wine and provide you with basic professional tasting skills.
The course will be given in English. This is not only interesting for those who do not speak Dutch but also for Dutch native speakers who want to get familiar with English wine terminology. It is a great starting point for sommeliers and others working with wine in an international setting.
The course will be given by Arend-Jaap van der Lely (Diploma WSET and Weinakademiker) and Madeleine Gaarlandt (Diploma WSET) of Wijn op Dronk. Arend-Jaap and Madeleine are fine wine importers and experienced wine educators.
